Although I’m acutely aware of how the weather is likely to be in Moscow and Petersburg, I still feel like I’m missing nothing by not being here… it’s absolutely lashing rain, everyone is filled with the Irish-winter blues, and everyone I’ve met is jealous of us getting out of here for a while!
I’m sure the Russians will have a great time reminding us that The Motherland hasn’t suffered from the economic downturn that the normal world has 
that’s rain, by the way
